Instructions

  • Mix cocoa powder, sugar, and salt in a medium-sized bowl until fully combined. Slowly add the milk to the dry mixture and stir until the sugar dissolves completely and the mixture becomes smooth.
    Pour heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract into the mixture, and mix well until all ingredients are combined. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and refrigerate for one hour.
    Using an ice cream maker, pour the mixture and let it set according to the device’s instructions. If you don't have an ice cream maker, place the mixture in a bowl and freeze, stirring every 30 minutes to avoid ice crystal formation.
    Don't forget to add the chocolate chips and mix gently before the freezing process ends.
