Add two tablespoons of plain yogurt to the cooled milk and gently mix until the yogurt is fully incorporated. Cover the container with a tight lid or clean towel and leave it in a warm place for 6-8 hours to set. Once set, place the yogurt in a clean cotton cloth inside a strainer over a bowl.Refrigerate for 2-4 hours to strain excess water. Transfer the yogurt to a clean container and store it in the refrigerator.
